Legal Basis

The processing of customer data is based on the consent provided directly by the individual through site registration, manual registration, or subscription to the newsletter. Processing is necessary to enable the conclusion of a service contract, or for visitors and users to use or consult this site, explicitly approving this privacy notice and consenting to the processing of their personal data in relation to the methods and purposes described below, including potential disclosure to third parties if necessary for the provision of a service. Purpose of Processing:

• To follow up on presales activities and commercial information requested by the data subject;
• To manage, conclude, and execute the agreed contractual relationship, including any compliance with fiscal and accounting obligations;
• To handle and fulfill the data subject’s contact requests, service provision requests, and assistance requests, including communication with third parties;
• To process data implicitly transmitted during the use of internet communication protocols, such as IP addresses or domain names of the computers used by users connecting to the site, including request timestamps, the method used to submit requests to the server, and the size of files received in response. These data are collected solely in aggregate form to verify site functionality and for security purposes, and are used exclusively for anonymous statistical analysis or technical reasons;
• Data may also be used to establish liability in the event of hypothetical cyber crimes against the IT structure (legitimate interests of the data controller);
• Camping Ideal performs profiling within regulatory limits, sending promotional information about our services, marketing details, remarketing activities, advertising, and other information of interest based on preferences expressed during the provision of personal data.

Territorial Scope

The Data Controller informs that the processing of provided data will predominantly be carried out directly or through assignment to another entity. This entity, designated solely to perform data processor activities, may, in secondary cases, be located outside Europe.

The Data Subject

Pursuant to Article 15 of EU Regulation 679/2016, the data subject has the right to obtain confirmation of the existence of data concerning them, and to request details about the origin, purposes, and methods of processing, as well as the update, correction, integration, or deletion of data processed unlawfully. The data subject also has the right to oppose processing for advertising purposes.

Data Access – Portability

You have the right to request copies of personal data you have provided in a structured, commonly used, and machine-readable format, and/or request us to transfer such information to another service provider (where technically feasible).

Data Retention

Camping Ideal generally retains your personal data for short periods or as necessary to fulfill the concluded contract.

• Some personal data may be retained to comply with legal and tax obligations or to protect our contractual interests.
• Exceptionally, some data may be retained for investigative activities as required by law.
• We declare that, after 24 months from the end of contractual obligations or requested presales/commercial activities, personal data not otherwise necessary under binding regulations will be removed.

Withdrawal of Consent and Data Processing Restriction

You may withdraw consent for the processing of personal data at any time by sending a communication specifying your intention to withdraw consent or by unsubscribing where applicable. Withdrawal of consent does not affect the lawfulness of any processing carried out based on consent before its withdrawal.
